About Bamboo

Established in 1991 by Chef José Mendoza, a native of Mexico who is the head Chef at Bamboo.

His flavorful dishes are all made from scratch – even down to the spices! With indoor dining, full bar and outdoor patio. We’re located on the border of West Los Angeles and Culver City in the residential area of Palms. We pride ourselves in continuing to be family owned and operated which allows us to bring the attention and service to our loyal customers and community.

Our menu will leave your mouth watering for more. In addition, our specialty drinks, like our Mojitos, are made with fresh sugar cane that we hand-press individually at the bar.

The interior boasts an inviting modern bar with romantic lighting and dining area. Outdoors there is an enclosed charm with heat lamps for year-round dining. The Appetizer menu offers soups, salads, crab cakes and gourmet pizzas. The Roma tomato and fresh mozzarella Bamboo Salad is the perfect starter to the flavorful entree menu, which features meat, poultry and seafood dishes doused in-house exotic spices. Main Menu. The skinless, marinated Yucatan Chicken breast carries the delicious flavor-punch of native black pepper, while our also favorite Mango Chicken is topped with fresh mango, pineapple, raisins and mild curry. Caribbean garlic and tomato sauce drips over both prawns and Caribbean shrimp entree. And for the sweet tooth, you gotta try our coconut flan or our heavenly Apple Tart Tatin.
